Let’s be real. I decided it would be cute to share homemade Tootsie Rolls with my friends on Valentine’s Day. Ha, why didn’t anyone tell me making candy is sticky and tricky?
There were a few moments of frustration in my kitchen, with the outcome being only subpar. The major issue was that I didn’t knead the powdered milk enough, which in turn made my dough grainy. Next time I will conquer the Tootsie roll, but it was tasty none-the-less.
