The selection for my 30 items was a bit challenging for me. I spent the majority of my Saturday morning throwing clothes on my bed trying to find the best mix for my 30 for 30. I also wanted to pick items in my closet that I don’t nearly wear enough and are still awesome. Then, I had to think about the weather and the fact that it can randomly get cold or snowy in this 30 days of new outfits. I had to think about holidays, and working at Anthropologie. (because you need to look “Anthro” when working… so true)
Then I pulled my hair, sighed, and said, “WHY, did I agree to do this?” Reassuring myself that it will be an awesome experience, I pulled through. I have way to many clothes anyways, so this experience will teach me to expand the uses of my closet with my great new clothing mixes. (and save money.. student loans start in 2 weeks!)
After I photographed all my 30 items, I decided to hang them on my rolling rack outside of my closet so they would be easy to view and mix. THEN I GOT REALLY SAD. “That is barely any clothing… ahhhh!” I moved past the moment of weakness, and decided to face this challenge head on. Really, this feels like I am exposing myself and my sick obsession with clothing- and it’s only 30 items! In my defense, I do call myself a bargain shopper, that is why I added the prices of what I can remember these items costing (or as close as I could get!). The mix begins tomorrow. Yay!
Here it is kids, the 30 for 30 items!
