Can I preface this whole post with that this project cost me 26 cents?
<pat on back for katey> . . actually < hug for katey> she needs more of those lately.
Pinterest. It does strange things to us women, we create boards of lifestyles we want and then daydream over them. Then of course we create lengthy lists of DIY projects that we have to try. Boredom got the best of me last night and I had grand ideas about turning my kitchen nook wall into this paint swatch wall. My wall has been naked ever since I moved in and if anyone knows me, I like color and pattern!
After a trip to Home Depot and gorging on paint swatches, I sat on my living room floor and realized I wasn’t greedy enough. Shocking, really <insert you imagining me stuffing paint swatches in my purse and sipping on a can of San Pellegrino in Home Depot>. I didn’t take nearly as many swatches as I should’ve to complete the whole wall. To keep my creative urge alive, I quickly resorted to plan B. Whatever plan B would be.
And Plan B is this, which I am actually super excited about. I spent $1.60 on ‘Fun Tack’ to stick the swatches on the wall and only used 1/6 of the pacakge. Thus, my project cost me 26 cents and 1.5 hours of me dancing in my living room, I mean… slapping the swatches on the wall. Thanks neighbors for understanding. Love Katey.
