Fall time is the best time to start baking with pumpkin. I found this recipe on Pinterest for a baked donut and it reeled me in. The recipe was pretty simple and I had most of the ingredients on hand. All I needed was a mini donut pan, which I found at Bed Bath and Beyond. Because it is so practical to spend money on something you might use once a year, right?
I think my pan was smaller, since I made 36 mini donuts and a pan of 24 mini muffins from this recipe instead of the 24 mini donuts it called out. Then I ate almost a whole batch of mini donuts after I photographed them <nom nom noms>.
