I makey the bakey. No lies, these cupcakes turned out fantastic and are a perfect treat for the fall season. I did the head-nod-of-appreciation as I ate the first one. Will I share? I haven’t decided.
I was a bit worried when the recipe called to make caramel. It was very runny at first, but as it cooled, it became more of a ‘honey-like’ consistency. Also, allowing the caramel cool down completely before adding it to the buttercream is a must!
