It is Denver Arts Week, through the 10th, with many events to attend ranging from science, nature, dance, music, art, film, and concerts. Last Saturday evening, we participated in the Night at the Museums, which allowed free admission to specified museums.
One of my favorite stops was at the Modern Contemporary Art Museum where we only paid a penny admission. The Bubble Garden stole the show for me, even though it is meant for children, I couldn’t resist playing in the bubbles. The MCA also provided a scavenger hunt that when completed, gives 1/2 off future admission. Snazzy. We also made stops at the Clyfford Still Museum and the new History Colorado Museum. It was nice to experience a range of art and history in one night.
Living in Denver, there is an abundance of festivals and events no matter what the season. It’s just lovely. Who knows, next weekend I could be snowboarding. Yes, I like that thought.
