Angel food cake has been a staple in my family since I was little, yet it wasn’t until now that I gave it a go on my own. The main reason? I don’t have an angel food cake pan which is essential in baking a big cake. Instead, I opted for individual cupcakes and ramekins. As the cupcakes cooled they shrank a little, but it made them more bite sized. With homemade whipped cream on top they were a treat to be had over the snowy weekend!
