Last night I spent time hanging art and photos around my apartment and am excited about my living room nook remedy. Let me premise this story with two important points.
1. I live in Colorado. The air is dry (my hair will tell you all about it) and air conditioning isn’t as important during the summer (the Nebraska girl in me is shocked at this, trust me). My apt is half garden level and will stay nice and cool. The air conditioning outlet plug? I hate it.
2. This also might shock you. I don’t own a TV. A cable outlet? Also unnecessary.
While I was hanging photos I began to hate these plugs more and decided to cover them up. The cardinal cross stitch was made by my Grandma Virginia, my best friend painted the brown canvas and I painted the three small ones. This corner reminds me of people I love because my lamp, table and African violet were from my Grandma Eleanor and the photo is of my beautiful mother in her 20’s! How I love this little corner!
