If you have been following my blog for over a year now, you will realize I already posted about hiking Hanging Lake in the Glenwood Canyon last year <insert Katey giving you a high-five for being an avid follower>. This hike is a tradition that my family shares when we get together for our summer reunion in Glenwood Springs. It is always so beautiful and unique, therefore I must share again.
The hike is about 1 mile of steep and rocky terrain followed by a tricking stream. Don’t worry if you need to stop and catch you breath, those good photo-op breaks. At the top nestled into the mountains is Hanging Lake and Sprouting Rock. The view is majestic and it makes you wonder who discovered this little mountain paradise!
