Hello Friday! Today I woke up lazily, made a french press of coffee and then plopped on my salmon pink couch (Miss Norma) to blog. That is my kind of day. I am also excited to announce that I will be starting a new job on Monday, which has given me the opportunity for a few days off to play, bake and create!
But really, let’s start talking about this plum torte… Earlier this week I decided to buy plums since I was the girl at the store almost drooling over them. I bought a handful not knowing exactly what I would bake. I then remembered a torte recipe that I used last year with raspberries that would be delightful by subbing in plums. It was hard to cut the plums prettily to get the seeds out, yet when the torte was finished the slight imperfections weren’t visible. This recipe is a gem to keep on file all year since you can sub in fresh seasonal fruit.
Thanks to Marilyn for all the pretty vintage napkins and table cloths. I love them!
