Spending part of my Sunday in the kitchen always does my soul good. I crank up new tunes, turn the fan on high and start measuring out my ingredients. I used a recipe from the Pastry Affair blog for Chocolate Salted Caramel Cookies this past weekend that turned out divine! Like nom nom cookie monster will eat all the cookies divine.
The recipe suggested homemade caramels, but I used store-bought since I didn’t have a lot of time. I cut the caramel in half and then rolled the pieces into balls. Then I surrounded the caramel with about 1.5 tablespoons of batter and baked. None of my cookies exploded with caramel so I call that a win. And they taste pretty great, so it’s a double win day.
