Last week while I was in North Carolina, we had a fantastic dinner at West First Wood-Fired. I enjoyed their house salad with cucumbers, goat cheese, blueberries and walnuts. My dinner consisted of the Shitake Mushroom Ravioli, handmade ravioli stuffed with shitakes and served with a sautéed garlic and mushroom light cream sauce and topped with gremolata. Holy yum. I was head nodding in appreciation the entire time I was eating.
