Our row home is coming together nicely and we wanted to share a peek of our living room ‘fireplace’. When deciding how to arrange the living room, I didn’t want to put the TV over the mantel. I wanted to keep the mantel a creative space that reflects both me and my Mountain Man.
He found the discarded window panes in an alley and I used knickknacks to fill in space. We both have vintage family photos on the mantel that coordinate with the patina of the window panes. Add in a cute bronze giraffee and my grandma’s vintage mirror and you might say this is an Anthro-like corner of my house. And hey, that makes me feel really happy since this mantel didn’t cost us a penny!
