I spent this past weekend in Glenwood Springs at my family reunion. We celebrate a family member’s ‘birthday’ every year (even though their birthday isn’t on that exact weekend) and this year I made a Lemon Thyme Cake for the birthday festivities!
The down-side of baking a cake two days early for a birthday celebration is that you don’t get that first bite to know how delicious it is. Regardless, after two days this Lemon Thyme Cake tasted divine and got rave reviews from my family. Lucky them for once – the get to eat a Bakey Katey creation instead of drooling over the computer screen!
