A friend and I got together last weekend and made a recipe from her Homemade Winter cookbook from Anthropologie. We settled on the Pear & Nut Tart with Calvados syrup and boy was it amazing. As most baking adventures go, there was about 30 minutes of hesitation with the syrup, but we pushed on for the win. Five days later, I am still eating my half. Noms.
